As we all know, Artificial Intelligence is rapidly advancing. AI can now generate images, videos, and even audio that look extremely real. While this technology is useful in many positive ways, it also creates a big challenge: How can we know what is real and what is fake?

Problem Statement
“Fake AI-generated media can be misused for spreading misinformation, fraud, and even in political or social manipulation. Since AI content looks almost identical to real media, humans alone cannot always detect it.

Therefore, we need an automated system that can analyze any media file and tell us whether it is AI-generated or real.”

How Our Project Works
“Our project is designed with two parts: Frontend and Backend.

1. Frontend (User Interface):

The user uploads an image or video through our website.

The interface is simple: drag and drop or browse a file.

Once uploaded, the system shows the file preview, and the user clicks the ‘Analyze’ button.



2. Backend (Detection Engine):

The file is sent to our AI detection API.

The model checks for signs of AI generation, such as missing metadata, unnatural textures, inconsistent lighting, or other digital fingerprints.

The backend then returns a result – whether the file is AI-generated or Real.

It also provides a confidence score, for example: 85% AI-generated.



3. Results:

The result is shown to the user with color-coded badges.

Green for real, Red for AI-generated, along with key signals that explain why.”
