Nicci Daly has done it all! From #hockey and #football to e-skooter racing, Daly has tried it all and competed at the highest levels. Most known for being an Irish hockey player, Nicci Daly was part of the hockey team that reached the World Cup Final - bringing home silver for Ireland, as well as competing at the #tokyoolympicgames in 2021. Nicci Daly formerly played gaelic football for Dublin, giving it up when it became too much to juggle hockey and football - following the ambition of going to the Olympic games.
Daly has a passion for engineering and motorsport, surrounded by motorsport since she was a child, combining the two loves to be involved in motorsport engineering, part of the technical team in race car driving.
Seeing the lack of women in motorsport, Nicci Daly set up her programme Formula Female, to encourage girls to get involved in #motorsports at any level - as an athlete or part of the technical team. After retiring from hockey, she traded lycra for leather and gave e-skooter racing a try!
