Tiramisu, a classic Italian dessert, combines layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, rich mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa for a dessert that’s as dreamy as it is satisfying. Perfect for any occasion, this no-bake treat will impress everyone at the table!

Ingredients:
-5 large egg yolks
-½ cup (125g) sugar
-1 ⅔ cup (400ml) chilled heavy whipping cream
-425g mascarpone cheese
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-½ cup (50g) icing sugar
-1 cup hot water
-2 tbsp instant coffee
-36-40 ladyfinger biscuits
-Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Method:
1- Mix the egg yolks and sugar in a heatproof bowl and place it over a double boiler on low flame, whisking continuously for 6-7 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Set it aside to cool.
2- In a bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form, and chill it in the refrigerator. Separately, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth, then gradually add the cooled egg yolk mixture while continuing to beat. Stir in the vanilla extract.
3- Fold the whipped cream and icing sugar into the mascarpone mixture gently to keep it light and airy. Chill this cream mixture for later use.
4- Dissolve the instant coffee in hot water. Quickly dip the ladyfinger biscuits into the coffee (don’t soak too long).
5- Arrange a layer of dipped biscuits in a serving dish, then spread half of the cream mixture on top. Repeat with another layer of biscuits and the remaining cream.
6- Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best flavor. Dust generously with cocoa powder before serving.
