Tony Brent was a very successful musical star in the 1950's.
He was well known in the Asian Radio stations, in particular, The Radio Ceylon, (now Sri Lanka). Radio Ceylon was also well known in the Indian Sub- Continent and was very popular with South Asian listeners.

Tony had a string of hits. Among them, I liked this particular song because it stirred up a lot emotions in me as a young boy at the time.
