Battlefest is here! The celebration of everything Battlefield and Battlefield 1 runs through Saturday, April 1st.

There’s a slew of activities and chances for rewards during Battlefest, so here are the full details.

First up, big news to address the random nature of battlepacks in Battlefield 1, DICE is implementing a scraps reward system.
Players can receive up to 100 scraps per day by playing Battlefield 1. Completing a multiplayer match nets you 50 Scraps. Winning a match gets you 25 additional scraps, and showing up in the end of round highlights earns you another 25 scraps.

So, even if you don’t wind up receiving a battlepack at the end of a match, completing those challenges in a day means you’re halfway there. DICE devs confirmed that this is a permanent change, and it’s not something just for Battlefest.

You’ll also receive a Battlepack from the special Battlefest Battlepack revision just for logging on to Battlefield 1 during the event. The Battlefest revision contains plenty of new weapon and vehicle skins, plus a shot a puzzle pieces for the new melee weapons added with the They Shall Not Pass update.

Battlefest will give you a boost if you’re chasing the new class ranks and level cap set with the recent update as well: Double XP is active for Battlefield 1 through March 31st.

Choose from the Scout or Medic class in infantry-only combat with double bullet damage. It’s a sniper’s paradise, and if you’re looking for kills to complete the challenges for the new Lebel rifle, it’s the place to be. Lastly, if you’re after more dogtags, you can get the DICE 25th anniversary dogtag just by logging in to Battlefield 1 between now and April 9th.

And what would Battlefest be without your best squadmates? DICE is proud to announce the new “Premium Friends” program that lets you and your buddies play all the maps from the recent expansion as long as someone in your party has Battlefield 1 Premium. If you don’t have Premium or the DLC, you won’t be able to spawn in the new weapons or vehicles, but you can still play together which is huge for the Battlefield community.
