Hello, my name is Candace Jackson and I am the director of surgical services at TriStar Summit Medical Center. We are excited to welcome you to Summit and wanted to give you a virtual tour and overview of our unit and processes.

Your safety and comfort have always been our top priority. With the recent pandemic, we understand the concerns you may have about coming to a medical facility. We are here to answer any questions you have and we are dedicated to working with your physician to provide the safest and best care possible.

Before your surgery you will have some Pre-Admission Testing required. When you arrive at Summit, please utilize our free valet service and enter at our Patient Registration entrance. There you will be screened and given a mask to be worn throughout your visit. At registration you will be greeted by a concierge and begin the checking in process. You will be called back by clinicians to begin your pre-surgery testing.

On the day of your surgery please repeat the mentioned steps in entering the facility. You will be allowed one visitor who will also need to be screened and wear a face mask. The nurses will advise you and that visitor where he/she may wait for you to return from your procedure.
