A heroic rescue unfolded on the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Trans Harbour Link (Atal Setu) in Navi Mumbai when a cab driver, Sanjay Yadav, saved a 57-year-old woman attempting to jump off the bridge. The woman, who had stopped the cab under the pretense of immersing religious items into the sea, tried to leap into the water but was quickly grabbed by Yadav, who held onto her by her hair. Police officers from the Nhava Sheva Traffic Unit arrived soon after and assisted in pulling her to safety. The incident, captured on CCTV, highlights the cab driver's quick thinking and the coordinated efforts of the police​ .
