It was made in France circa 1910 by a subsidiary branch of the famous British company. The motor has been dismantled and fully cleaned so nowadays the phonograph - gramophone sounds wonderfully and makes it possible to play records just like when it was made. All the component parts are original except for the screw that attaches the horn to the arm that connects it with the reproducer. This detail, though, is of little importance and does not interfere with the phonograph - gramophone’s good look. The front side of the box shows the remains of an old sticker with the famous HMV logo.
