1. Hex Build:
In today’s video, I’ll show you the 4 best ways to play Kaneki!
Let’s start with the Hex Build, which is arguably one of the strongest builds for Kaneki.
Kaneki is an amazing killer for Hex builds — and that’s mostly thanks to his add-on: Yamori’s Mask.
This add-on is basically a stronger version of Barbecue. Not only does it give you information on survivor locations, but it also makes survivors scream, interrupting whatever action they’re doing — like repairing gens, cleansing totems, and more.
So, what perks do we run in this build?
Hex: Devour Hope
Hex: Undying
Hex: Thrill of the Hunt
Dominance
Dominance gives you information when survivors find your totems. This means you don’t need to constantly check your totems and waste your time.
Thrill of the Hunt makes cleansing totems take longer. Normally, it takes 14 seconds to cleanse a totem. With Thrill of the Hunt, it jumps to around 22 seconds.
Now imagine this:
A survivor finds a totem. Dominance activates, blocking it for 16 seconds. Once the block ends, they try to cleanse it — and it takes over 20 seconds. During this time, you’re going to interrupt them with Yamori's Mask. So that survivor just wasted around 30 seconds trying to cleanse a totem instead of repairing gens.
Another great thing about this build is that you can use any kind of Hex perks — like Ruin, Blood Favor, and so on.
I also have a similar video for other killers—feel free to check it out! Let me know which killer you'd like to see in the next video.
Enjoy the build!
2. Stealth Build
Stealth Kaneki time!
Stealth builds work really well on Kaneki because he isn’t very loud, and it only takes him a second to travel across the map. That’s why you’ll be jumpscaring survivors constantly.
Even if they hear you coming, it’ll already be too late.
In this build, I’m running:
Trail of Torment
Nowhere to Hide
Pop Goes the Weasel
Gearhead
The best part of this build is that you can activate all of these perks just by kicking one generator. And for Gearhead, all you need to do is injure survivors.
With all the information from Gearhead and Nowhere to Hide, combined with the stealth from Trail of Torment, it’s time to demolish some survivors.
Enjoy the build!
3. Slowdown Hell.
I have a feeling that every survivor who goes against this build is going to hate you.
You know why?
Because you’re going to regress all gens with Surge and Pain Resonance, and on top of that, you can apply up to a 50% slowdown on survivors.
Repairing gens will be a nightmare.
That’s all thanks to Dying Light and Thanatophobia.
Yes, Dying Light does buff the healing speed of the Obsession, but that’s not a big problem for Kaneki — he can easily injure survivors and he also end chases quickly.
Enjoy the build!
4. Best Kaneki Build
It’s time for the best Kaneki build — featuring 6 insanely powerful perks.
You might be thinking, “Wait, in DBD we can only use 4 perks.”
And you’re absolutely right — but Kaneki is one of those killers who can replace some perks with his add-ons.
For example:
Yamori’s Mask replaces Barbecue, giving you info and interrupting survivors’ actions.
Red-Headed Centipede works similarly to Bamboozle, helping you block windows.
From perks, I’ll use:
Pain Resonance and Surge
(Two of the best perks for gen regression on Kaneki)
Dead Man’s Switch
(It has an amazing synergy with Yamori’s Mask and Pain Res)
No Way Out
(Just in case survivors somehow make it to the endgame)
Enjoy the build!
That's all for today, guys! Let me know which build is your favorite. Bye-bye!
