School Games 2024 - Opening Ceremony

The School Games National Finals is a biennial four-day multi-sport event for young athletes of school age and is funded by Sport England National Lottery Funding and backed by all the Home Country Sports Councils and UK Sport. The 2024 games will be held at Loughborough University from 29th August until 1st September.



JOIN US LIVE at the Games opening ceremon hosted by two amazing presenters; Ex England Netball Captain and current Sky Sports / BBC Pundit Pamela Cookey and Former middle distance athlete, Football Commentator, BBC, ITV and Sky Sports presenter Tom Gayle. The event will feature the traditional aspects of a games opening ceremony including the athlete parade and the taking of the School Games oath, alongside some incredible entertainment from performers DJ Jodie, Bloxed Beats and Beat Bots, PLUS the chance to meet some of the Games Athlete Mentor team, and fingers crossed maybe even some gold stardust straight from the Paris 2024 Olympics!
