 Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3, episode 1, "Costa da Morte".  With The Walking Dead's lethal wildfire virus wiping out most of humanity, very few safe zones remain, and Daryl Dixon finally confirmed that the world's most secure country also collapsed during the apocalypse. Having already explored France and Greenland, the spinoff show has continued putting the spotlight on other countries, with Daryl Dixon season 3 taking place predominantly in Spain.  Although France introduced a variety of interesting characters, the change in location felt fitting as most storylines reached their conclusion, setting up Daryl and Carol's journey home to America. Unfortunately, their trip went badly wrong as they washed up on the shores of Spain, but they departed from a completely devastated country that once looked like the franchise's safest location.  After being informed that the UK survived The Walking Dead's zombie outbreak, Daryl and Carol headed there during season 2's finale. However, upon reaching their destination in season 3's premiere, they found it was even worse than anywhere else. Thankfully though, "Costa da Morte" finally unveiled the truth about what happened in the United Kingdom and why there are so few survivors. The United Kingdom Fell After Humans Turned Against Each Other  Although the United Kingdom lasted longer than most countries, things eventually fell apart when humans turned on one another. Daryl and Carol's arrival in the territory was peculiar, as not only did they not see any humans, but they also didn't see any walkers until coming across what appeared to be a safe zone with a curfew.  Unfortunately, they eventually encountered far more zombies than people, narrowly escaping with their lives before meeting Julian, who claimed to be the last Englishman in England. He explained what happened to the country, revealing that he hadn't seen anyone in years, with survivors eventually turning on one another, leading to groups splitting off into different tribes.  Just like The Walking Dead's French and American villains, it seems like certain people in the UK lost their humanity, with Julian citing their confrontational behavior co
