Welcome to a ramble on something I like to call 'Deep Ecology Marxism'. I've been thinking for a while about environmentalism, sustainable urban planning, solarpunk cities and deep ecology, and it was about time I pumped out a video essay on the subject

Footnote: The object of this video is dismantling human supremacy, not humankind as a whole. I do believe we need to look after our own before any other species. The problem arises when we prioritize our extreme comfort to endanger and exterminate other inhabitants of the biosphere.

Furthermore, I don't think "going back to monkey" or "regressing to clans" is the way to go, obviously. Dense, green cities with top-tier urban planning, decentralized, local governance with planned allocation of goods and services are what I'm striving for.
