CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute's Managing Director Craig Willingham is joined by Dr. Naa Oyo A. Kwate, Associate Professor of Africana Studies and Human Ecology at Rutgers for a talk on her forthcoming book via Minnesota Press in 2023.

Dr. Kwate’s research has centered on the ways in which urban-built environments reflect racial inequalities in the United States, and how racism, directly and indirectly, affects African American health.
