As part of the Pop Culture Online Fest, we interviewed creative professionals about their industry and the work they do. Tune in to this cosplay interview where mayamada co-founder Nigel sits down (virtually) with British Comic Artist Laura Howell.

Laura tells us how she took a chance on creating comics to becoming the first female artist to draw for the Beano. She has gone on to work with publishers including VIZ, BOOM Studios and MAD magazine on titles such as Angry Birds and Cartoon Network’s Regular Show. This is definitely one for aspiring comic artists!
