New Amsterdam Travel Video- The Hague, or Den Haag in Dutch, is a city full of surprises. Although known as the center of Dutch government, there is so much more to the city that's worth discovering. The Hague is one of the biggest art centers in the country, home to masterworks of Dutch painters Rembrandt and Vermeer; and famous modern artists Escher and Mondriaan. In the city center are big, fun shopping areas and a beautifully domed indoor mall. Wander the streets and stumble upon a shop that sells liquor from the oldest distillery still in operation. Around the city are various family attractions, like a park filled with miniature replicas of Dutch landmarks and a seaside resort with an ocean fun pier and a fantastic musical theater.
