HANDS DOWN THE BEST RTR!! (For under 100$) AX-8560

We took the Austarhobby AX-8560 RTR on a trail run and it was impressive! This 18th scale crawler costs only $80 but it's packed with factory upgrades that turn it into a beast right out of the box.

First of all, the slow crawl on this unit is almost as good as some brushless crawlers. It's smooth and the low-down torque is very impressive thanks to the 370 motor. Although the 3 "speed" settings are just a governor and not actual speeds, they come in handy when slow crawling. I found that setting 2 is perfect - enough torque to move but not enough to flip it.

We were pleasantly surprised by the many little upgrades that come with this crawler, especially considering its low price. It's definitely a great value for your money.

Compared to my modified Defender and its upgrades, this $80 TRX4m could be the best budget 1/18th scale crawler out there!
