The United States is keeping a close eye on the outcome of the Seoul-Beijing summit...
Washington says... it encourages countries in Northeast Asia to engage in dialogue,...
but U.S. officials declined to comment on whether they were concerned that South Korea and China were getting too close.
At a regular press briefing Wednesday,... the State Department spokesperson said both countries are important key partners to the U.S.,... and that Washington will wait to hear what the two leaders say... at the conclusion of their meeting.
