As a creator it may feel good that a lot of people want to participate in something you created, but the 10k avatar projects are leaving a lot of angry people on the slaughter-room floor of their big mint paydays.
Yesterday I gave examples of how high gas fees were, but to add insult to injury a successful purchase AWAY from me.

This violates what decentralized, smart contracts are for:
Non-intervention.
This team was able to manipulate the mint, to exclude certain people.
I am sure they will point to some fault over their tech. But it certainly made people very wary of the mint process.

This means creators everywhere are going to have to look to provide value and utility, more than ever, as the mint system feels broken, and at its worst, corrupt.

And it's public trust violations that hurt blockchain advancements the most. the hacks, the rug pulls, the elitism.
Blockchain is supposed to help prevent these points of failure, but we seem to have a long way to go.
