This video is about the haldi ceremony which was conducted before my wedding. In telugu community, haldi ceremony happens before a month or two and all the ladies will be invited for this function.

We have asked everyone to wear yellow saress and decked up the house nicely. The rolu and rokali were decorated well too and in one of the centre table, we have kept the ganesha idol along with the banana leafs plants and lit the diya's.

Also, we took the return gifts for everyone and we purchased trays and in that we kept all the paldanyam items such as haldi, kumkum, pan patta, betel nut, coins and one frooti too.

So, the starting of the ritual will be done by taking the holy blessings of our god followed by my parents and we should first give sharbat to all the ladies who were invited.

Once that is done, 3 pasupu kommulu will be given to the ladies and they will put that pasupu kommulu in the rolu and start danchandam.

This haldi will be used in the entire wedding for all the rituals and considered very auspicious.
