Tārā is a meditation deity worshiped by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop certain inner qualities and to understand teachings such as karuṇā (compassion), mettā (loving-kindness), and shunyata (emptiness).

This is written as a journey that engages the subconscious.
00:00 Highs and lows are a constant in life
00:39 Call to Tara for assistance
01:18 The division of one into duality
01:37 Call to Tara
02:16 The gradual process of building a structure, beginning with the foundation
03:13 Call to Tara
03:52 The appearance of snakes
04:50 The process of building a structure by first projecting one's vision, then helping form to follow
05:50 Together we constitute the luminous ruby flames that propel each of us upwards in turn towards our goals
06:25 We adhere to reality
07:23 The division of one into duality
07:42 Call to Tara
08:02 We adhere to reality
08:39 Projecting into the sky and now form follows projection even quicker than before - we have the combined strength of the many
09:18 Call to Tara

Red Tārā is associated with attracting good things and the transformation of desire into compassion and love.

The repetition of a mantra, helps to ease the mind out of it's regular linguistic mode of operation and into the natural state for which it originally evolved - with a more acute apprehension of the nature of things.

If you are going through heartbreak - repeating a mantra for a few minutes, will demonstrate to your body, physically, that interrupting its suffering and concentrating on something else, leads to no harm. Through this it learns that the suffering is not productive - and may therefore start presenting less of this to the conscious mind.

As we focus on Red Tara - we focus on an indomitable aspect of ourselves; the aspect capable of bravely negotiating with reality as it is and finding our path past misguided desires to equanimity and that which genuinely supports us.
