In this episode of Repair and Replace, Vance shows how to replace the vacuum breaker in an American Standard Selectronic Flush Valve. This applies to both commercial toilets (water closets) and urinals.

The vacuum breaker prevents water from being siphoned back into the flushometer. Over time the rubber can break down, so if the vacuum breaker is leaking it should be replaced.
