SIG P365 Radian vs P365 XMacro

This is a 100% anecdotal and non-scientific test to compare the SIG P365 XMacro against the SIG P365 3.1” with RadianWeapons Afterburner + Ramjet Combo.

Most tests usually calculate muzzle rise using a Ransom Rest’s rocker arm movement, or slow motion footage of the frame/muzzle rise calculated from some other arbitrary pivot point such as near the rear of the frame and the web of the hand.

In this test I filmed one 5-shot string for both guns, hiting the A-Zone of a USPSA target at 10 yards, and calculated the recoil based on the breach face and relative frame/muzzle rise as it was easier to track with minimal software.

So just take this as an anecdotal experiment and YMMV. That said, I observed approximately 27% decrease in muzzle rise using the Radian barrel + compensator combo.
