Former professional boxer and Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, Erik "El Terrible" Morales, visited novastem to prepare for an upcoming exhibition fight against another legend of the sport Julio César Chávez.
Despite his retirement from the sport in 2012, Morales is still a beloved figure in the boxing community, and we're thrilled to hear that he's gearing up for an axhibition fight. Morales is undergoing intensive training and visited Novastem to ensure that he's in top form for the exhibition fight.

Erik "El Terrible" Morales is a Mexican former professional boxer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest Mexican boxers of all time. Born on September 1, 1976, in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, Morales began his boxing career at the age of 16 and quickly rose through the ranks to become a world champion in three different weight classes.
Morales was known for his aggressive fighting style, powerful punching, and excellent technical skills. He was also known for his toughness and durability in the ring, often taking punishment from his opponents and still managing to win fights. Morales fought some of the biggest names in boxing, including Manny Pacquiao, Marco Antonio Barrera, and Paulie Malignaggi.
One of Morales' most memorable fights was his first fight against Marco Antonio Barrera in 2000. The fight was a back-and-forth battle, with both fighters trading punches and momentum shifting throughout the bout. In the end, Morales won a close and controversial decision, sparking a fierce rivalry between the two fighters that would continue for years.
Morales retired from boxing in 2012 with a record of 52 wins, 9 losses, and 36 knockouts. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2018, cementing his place as one of the greatest boxers of all time. Off the ring, Morales has been involved in various philanthropic and business endeavors, including founding a boxing gym and promoting young talent in Tijuana.
