Representative Bob Good (R-Va.) told Scripps News on Friday, "Speaker (Mike) Johnson has offered to endorse me and I said, yeah, I'll be glad to have your endorsement." Good is the chair of the House Freedom Caucus, a group that has stood in opposition of Republican House speakers and whose members helped oust former Speaker Mike McCarthy.

This latest endorsement comes amid growing calls from Marjorie Taylor Greene and others to remove Speaker Johnson months after voting him into the position.
