Kodiak Canvas Tent

An in-depth review of the Kodiak Canvas Swag Tent. I think the Kodiak Canvas tent is a solid tent. Yes, it's heavy and I wouldn't take it on a backpacking trip but for car camping or a short hike into the backcountry, I would take it.

I've heard some people say it's a bivy. This is far from a bivy. In fact, it's not even close. Other than it being waterproof and being a shelter, that's about all it has in common.

Is it heavy? Of course. It's made of CANVAS and just like any other tent made from canvas, it will be heavy. It's made to be rugged and last. Something you can pass down to your grandkids.
