🚇 TransLink SkyTrain - Real Time Journey - Millennium Line - VCC-Clark to Lafarge Lake-Douglas

📔 DESCRIPTION 📔
Take a ride on the TransLink (‪@TransLink‬) Millennium Line SkyTrain, in real-time, from VCC-Clark Station to Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station.

The TransLink Millennium Line first began operation in 2002, opening in two phases in January and August of that year. Later extensions added SkyTrain service to VCC-Clark Station in the west in 2006 and to Coquitlam in the east in 2016 on the 10.9km long Evergreen Extension. A new extension of the Millennium Line is currently under construction with the Broadway Extension. The Broadway Extension will extend the Millennium Line west a further 5.7km to Arbutus Street entirely underground and is expected to be the first phase of eventually extending the Millennium Line to the University of British Columbia (UBC).

All footage captured in this video was recorded on October 19, 2022. All filming was completed under the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (TransLink) Photography on Transit Property Policy with advance communication with, and notification to, the TransLink Corporate Communications Department.
