ashlands first landfall: valheim

this is probably already an out of date experience with the new patch, which nerfed aggro somewhat. but it's basically a D-day style landing: blow past any enemies while you are in the boat, beach the boat on the shore, fight for control, build a small base.

you need materials for the landing in your inventory:
workbench
shield generator
stone cutter
black marble

you can leave the rest on the boat and go back for it.

beaching the boat makes it easier to go back for the storage, and if/when the boat gets destroyed, the materials will be closer to land. the player does take damage from the boiling water. the damage is not instant, but it builds up over time, kind of like drowning.
