Some new arrivals prove to be more trouble than help on the Fat Controller's Railway, in this, the first volume of my two-book series finale. One of the newcomers, a diesel shunter numbered 9556, is tricked by Spamcan into taking his empty china clay trucks to Brendam Docks. Unfortunately, she runs out of fuel on the way, and soon discovers her folly. Perhaps Spamcan might have gotten away with it, had he not fallen foul of two engines who happened to meet her... a certain pair of China Clay twins...
