Soraga è un pittoresco paese della Val di Fassa, nel cuore delle Dolomiti, famoso per le sue tradizioni alpine. Ogni anno, a fine settembre, si celebra la “Festa della Desmonteada”, evento che segna il ritorno del bestiame dagli alpeggi estivi. Le mucche, decorate con fiori e campanacci, sfilano per le vie del paese, accompagnate da musica, canti e costumi tipici, rievocando l’antico legame con la vita agricola e pastorale della valle.
Soraga is a picturesque village in the Val di Fassa, in the heart of the Dolomites, famous for its Alpine traditions. Every year, at the end of September, the “Festa della Desmonteada” is celebrated, an event that marks the return of cattle from the summer mountain pastures. The cows, decorated with flowers and cowbells, parade through the streets of the village, accompanied by music, songs and traditional costumes, recalling the ancient bond with the agricultural and pastoral life of the valley.
