“Old Joe Clark” | Doc Watson – Beginner/Intermediate BLUEGRASS Guitar Lesson with TAB

This 3-part lesson is based off the Doc Watson version that he would often play with his son Merle in the form of a medley. “Old Joe Clark” is one of the most well known of all of the old southern fiddle tunes and can be heard on countless classic country and bluegrass records over the years. This beginner/intermediate tune shares many of the same melodic intervals that can be heard in other great fiddle tunes like “Salt Creek” and “Red Haired Boy”.
