The BEST Klingon Warship - D7 Battle Cruiser - Star Trek Starship Breakdown

The D7, initially presented to the High Council by Chancellor L’Rell in 2257, intended to enter mass production, be a symbol of unity and embraced by all Houses. By the 2260s the 7s were the most common type of vessel within the Klingon Imperial Fleet. Though not yet manifested on screen, the D6-class, whilst almost cosmetically indistinguishable from the successor, were considered dated and relegated to light cruiser roles and other variants.
