Ioșia / Őssi is a district or quarter of Oradea, the largest city of Bihor County, Romania. It was founded on the western side of the city in the 1920s and 1930s, when the population of Oradea was expanding rapidly. Originally the rural population that moved in here reconstructed a village landscape, that is partly maintained to this day. Then in the 1970s and 1980s there was another wave of construction, when typical Soviet style apartment blocks were built. In the past 5 years brand new apartment blocks and a shopping center were added to the neighborhood. In this video all three districts will be explored and explained in detail.
