WELCOME to MedStories

Welcome to MedStories! MedStories is a chance to share stories of community physicians that show the beauty and exciting nature of the field of medicine through a segment of video interviews!

I started MedStories because of 2 reasons:
1) I wanted to create an opportunity for premeds to listen to, and learn about the realities of life as a doctor, from a variety of physicians practicing in different specialties.
2) I think as humans we love to listen to stories. In fact hearing a good story increases our oxytocin hormone levels, so MedStories is a chance to share the impactful and meaningful stories of physicians in my community.

First video is with Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Wanda Millard. Dr. Millard has an Olympic Gold medal and numerous World Championship medals as team physician for the National Women's Hockey Teams in Canada as well as extensive experience in covering individual teams and large multi-sport events such as Pan Am Games.
