Ivan Hutchinson is a Australian Movie Critic who is know for a lot of different TV Critic but his most well know is the Midday Movie. He stated on the HSV-7 Only inducting films in the early 60s then when national throw the Seven Network. Until his death on the 7th of October 1995 aged 67. After his death Seven just decided just to have an Opening Title Sequence for the Midday Movie with no host. He also work as a film columnist for The Sun News-Pictorial. I also read somewhere in the mid 80s on his show Ivan's Friday Family Movie he showed on Channel 7 Song of the South and people protest against him and the network. I would love to find a copy of him introducing Song of the South. Recorded off SAS channel 7 Adelaide in 1992. I found this on a TDK Extra High Grade E240 VHS Cassette, which was converted to DVD.
