Hey Drivers, in this video, I discuss the critical issue of mental health in our industry, highlighting that drivers experience depression at twice the rate of the general population and that fatigue contributes to 1,400 fatalities annually in truck-related accidents. I emphasize the urgent need for your participation in research to address these concerns, as current studies are severely lacking driver input. I introduce the TIC for REST trial, which is testing innovative solutions for sleep fatigue and offers up to $2,500 for team drivers who participate. It's essential that we all show up for this research to drive real change in our working conditions. Let’s stop being an under-researched industry and take action together!
