Mother Nature has not been too kind to landspeed racers the past couple of years, and she scolded us again at the May 2023 El Mirage season opener. We only got one tuning run in before a massive thunderstorm rolled in, and only ran a 186 on our own 193 MPH record. We made the best of it and had a great time camping, eating tacos, and drinking in the mud.
