It is possible to combine two or more different colours when doing diamond tufting. As I show in this video I have used two different automotive leather(1.3 mm thick) colours I had at hand.

Suggestions:
1. To get a better outcome and ease procedure I would advise the use of thin (less than 1 mm)furniture leather material which is more pliable and softer than automotive leather.
2. I would advise the use a 7 cm (3 inches approx.) dense foam as first padding then thoroughly cover it with a 1 cm softer foam layer, and at last a layer of dacron all over to even irregularities and 'add' more 'body' to our design.
3. The sewing of all leather pieces should be also considered as a possible fact in case of combining two or more different leather colors.
