Habiganj District is an administrative region of the Sylhet Division in northeastern Bangladesh . According to the number of upazilas, Habiganj is an "A" class district of Bangladesh. In 1984 it was turned into habiganjake district. Earlier, Habiganj subdivision was included in Sylhet district from 184 .
Habiganj district on the north, Sunamganj and Sylhet district , south India's Tripura state , the Moulvibazar district on the west Brahmanbaria and Kishoreganj districts .
