Cissy Houston was interviewed in 1991 for Whitney Houston's HBO special "Welcome Home Heroes with Whitney Houston Live In Concert". The clip that I posted here came from my own VHS videotape because the concert aired live on television (HBO) on March 31, 1991 which was Easter Sunday that year, so I was able to tape the entire program on VCR I didn't post the entire concert here because I see that others here on YouTube have already posted the concert, but I wasn't sure if anyone posted this Cissy Houston interview which aired just prior to the concert starting...and that is Matt Lauer commentating at the end of the video. Prior to Matt going to NBC, apparently he briefly worked for HBO.
