A Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 23MAR2024

This morning's California Zephyr arrived in Fort Morgan at 0507 MDT (4 min. off advertised). P42s #157 & #30 brought the 8-car consist to a single spot 2 car passenger stop with passenger service from car 4 (sleeper) 1 departing and 1 departing passenger from car 7 followed by 4 new fares boarding the train at car 7. With the passenger service safely completed, the high ball was given and on a clear signal at west Ft. Morgan CP the Zephyr continued its westward journey with the next stop being Denver's Union Station.
My thanks to the operating crew for the greetings this morning. And to viewer David who joined me and another person on the platform to observe the station stop. I enjoyed the company!
