How to kill Bermuda grass in a cool season lawn

Описание к видео How to kill Bermuda grass in a cool season lawn

I think this may be every cool season lawn caretaker's worst nightmare! Wild bermuda grass in my cool season lawn!

Wild bermuda is an absolute beast and almost impossible to control, however after doing research I found that the best methods for suppressing it are a combination of Fusillade II and Triclopyr ester (linked below) at 3/4 oz per gallon per 1,000 sq ft. every 4 weeks during the bermuda growing season. Add a surfactant to help the spray stick to the bermuda.

As you see in the video, this combination is working, at least hurting the bermuda grass. The drawback is that we are spraying at the wrong time to be spraying our cool season lawns so we are sacrificing our good grass, but that is a risk I'm willing to take.
