Please Note that this seismograph is located in an urban area. Thus, you will see lots of “Cultural Noise”. This can be people/animals walking near the seismograph. Also Vehicles and heavy machines. Anything the vibrates or shakes the ground can be detected by this seismograph!

General Info about the stream:
The Right “Half” is data only from my Seismograph (Raspberry Shake)
The Left Half is data that is aggregated from other sources.
Here are some recordings of earthquakes on the live stream, hopefully you should be able to see the variation of the different quakes. If not please leave it in the live chat, you will get a reply within a few hours. Please be patient as this is not my main occupation. All of the graphs on the right hand side show the last two minutes of data on the Right hand side.

Large Local Earthquake:    • M 4.5 - 3km WSW of South El Monte, CA | So...  ​
(In larger earthquakes when you can feel them, you will notice that the lower right six graphs will be filled in. So in earthquakes that are felt here, you will see the graphs fill in.)
Small Local Earthquake:    • M 1.8 - 6km NW of Corona, CA | Southern CA...  ​
Large Regional Quake:    • M 3.1 - 7km SSE of Littlerock, CA | Southe...  ​
Moderate Regional Quake:    • M 2.9 - 7km NE of Idyllwild, CA | Southern...  ​
Large (M6.0+) Global Earthquake:    • M 6.2 - 99 km NW of Constitución, Chile | ...  ​

This Live Stream has an active earthquake early warning system. The “MyShake” and “QuakeAlert” apps are being used for the alerts. An alert will sound if shaking above MMI 3 is predicted in Central Los Angeles.
