Connemara Links Golf Course, Co. Galway, Ireland , a Review

Tucked away along the west of Ireland in the Connemara region ,county Galway, is Connemara Links Golf Course. It's a 27 hole although typical is the 18 hole 7045 yd. course. Along a beautiful pristine stretchy of the Atlantic ocean. In spring the water is quite cool. Although the locals seem to embrace the ocean as it's it sunny Florida. It is a links style course but flatter and less sea grasses to contend with. The course favors accurate drives as the fairways seem long and narrow. Don't be fooled because it doesn't have the typical sea grasses. It's plenty easy to lose balls. I also cover 2 towns to stay in while in the area. Although this video is on golf there is wonderful hiking in the area. Knows as the 12 BIG Bens, 12 mountain tops. Visit Connemara National Park. You can stay in Clifden although the small fishing village of Round Stone is a hidden gem
I didn't plan on playing as much golf as I did. I used golf as the reason to explore different areas of Ireland. Plus I was able to play great courses.
