he Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, “mentioned Khadija, and her father wanted him to marry him,” so she prepared food and drink, so she called her father and a group of Quraysh, and they ate and drank until they became drunk, and Khadija said to her father: Muhammad Bin Abdullah proposed to me, so I married him to him.
So he married her to him, so she created him and dressed him in a robe, and this is what they used to do with fathers. When his drunkenness passed from him, he looked and saw that he was well-made and wearing a robe, and he said: What is my business? What is this? She said: Muhammad bin Abdullah married me.
He said: I will marry the orphan of Abu Talib, no, because of my age.
Khadija said: Are you not ashamed, wanting to make yourself foolish in front of the Quraysh? Tell people you were drunk? She did not stop with it until he was satisfied.

Sa'id ibn Abi Waqqas said:
"Four ayats were revealed about me. The first was when my mother swore she would neither eat nor drink until I left Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Allah Almighty revealed, 'But if they try to make you associate something with Me about which you have no knowledge, do not obey them. Keep company with them correctly and courteously in this world' (31:15) The second was when I took a sword that I admired and said, 'Messenger of Allah, give me this!' Then the ayat was revealed: 'They will ask you about booty.' (8:1) The third was when I was ill and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to me and I said, 'Messenger of Allah, I want to divide my property. Can I will away a half?' He said, 'No.' 'A third?' I asked. He was silent and so after that it was allowed to will away a third. The fourth was when I had been drinking wine with some of the Ansar. One of them hit my nose with the jawbone of a camel. I went to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and Allah Almighty revealed the prohibition of wine."

Narrated Abu 'Abdur-Rahman As-Sulami:that 'Ali bin Abi Talib said: "'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf prepared some food for which he invited us, and he gave us some wine to drink. The wine began to affect us when it was time for Salat. So they encouraged me (to lead) and I recited: 'Say: O you disbelievers! I do not worship what you worship, and we worship what you worship' - so Allah, Most High, revealed: O you who believe! Do not approach Salat when you are in a drunken state until you know what you are saying (4:)
