Sleeping Gods Primeval Peril - Review and comparison with OG

Sleeping gods was the first campaign boardgame I’ve completed. It holds a very special place in my heart, because I really felt that I was immersed in the adventure and very interested in the story.
But it's not because it's one of my favourites, that it doesn't has flaws.
Last year or the year before, Red Raven games announced Distant Skies, an experience that was more suited for solo players and along with-it Primeval Peril which was a print and play game on the first crowdfunding campaign for the OG Sleeping Gods.
Does Primeval Peril solve the flaws of the OG?
