Cab Ride on a Classic EMD GP9 Locomotive !

On May 8th, 2022, I actually got to ride along in the cab of Prairie Dog Central 4138 an EMD GP9 built as a Central Vermont unit, later becoming a Grand Trunk Western unit before being sold by CN to the Prairie Dog Central around 2003. After a run down from Grosse Isle, MB with the 4-4-0 steam engine, 4138 was started up to put the passenger cars away for the day.

Of course this was filmed with permission from the crews. I know some foamer’s video of him inside a locomotive is going around, just wanna clarify that I didn’t sneak in the cab or anything crazy like that, lol.
