I made this Sathumavu Urundai a.k.Health mix balls for a week’s school snack. The little one at home was overjoyed at home and started demanding these as “Energy ladoos”. I prefer to do lots of homemade stuff than the store-bought ones.
The kids were bored of the routine Sathumaavu kanji and I wanted to finish off the last of the Sathumaavu left out. Hence added some fresh jaggery syrup and made these ladoos for the snack. These are really “energy ladoos” keeping in mind all the good stuff that goes into it. The kids had them and enjoyed it. Do try this at home as a healthy snack option for the kids at home.
