Guided Imagery Exercise for Kids and Teens

Описание к видео Guided Imagery Exercise for Kids and Teens

Our minds are powerful, and we can use our imagination to visualize almost anything. Guided imagery is a coping skill and relaxation exercise that uses words, images and all 5 senses to help move our attention away from worry and stress to a more relaxed state. We can practice guided imagery anywhere, anytime we want to feel relaxed, safe and peaceful.

We can’t control everything that happens to our kids, but we can teach them—at any age—to be resilient in the face of life’s ups and downs. With Raising Resilience, we're giving caregivers tips and tools to proactively build resilience in kids—all from our Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Strong4Life behavioral and mental health experts.
