In a future timeline, humanity made a revolutionary discovery about the nature of gravity:
"Gravity is not a fundamental force, but rather an emergent phenomenon—arising from the redistribution of information entropy as the universe seeks a state of maximum entropy. When matter exists in space, it alters the 'information structure' of spacetime, and this alteration leads to entropy gradients. Gravity is simply the manifestation of this process of entropic balancing."

Since gravity emerges from differences in information density and entropy gradients, antigravity technologies were born—designed to locally dilute information density, disrupt structured patterns, and thereby weaken or cancel gravitational effects in specific zones.

Humanity has since built multiple artificial ecological planets orbiting Earth. Under normal circumstances, their mutual gravitational pull would lead to orbital collapse or Roche limit disruption. However, by placing Gravity Dilution Devices at their cores, entropy gradients were reduced to near-zero—causing gravitational attraction between them to vanish.

These devices continuously perform external information "decompression", decoupling the artificial planets from Earth’s gravity, avoiding tidal locking, orbital decay, or catastrophic collapse.
Much like the massive mechanical ringworlds engineered by faraway civilizations in distant galaxies, these eco-planets represent a new kind of cosmic architecture.

Each planet’s core houses an Informational Gravity Chip Array, capable of simulating 1G surface gravity, adjustable for various species and functional environments.
Their orbital stability does not rely on traditional Newtonian mechanics, but rather on informational wave alignment, allowing the planet to resonate within Earth's entropic field and remain in equilibrium.

These artificial planets are more than habitats—they are interstellar-capable vessels, equipped with enormous surface thrusters, able to depart Earth's orbit and voyage across the stars when needed.

Travel between Earth and these artificial planets is seamless and routine.
Citizens can rent or purchase personal spacecraft from AI-driven vendors by spending their Contribution Credits, Trust Tokens, Consensus Points, or Action Units—the standard personal currencies in this post-Earth civilization.

However, maintaining a low-entropy, antigravitational state comes at a cost.
Gravity dilution is not free: to remain suspended in orbit, each planet must discharge its accumulated entropy every 72 hours into a near-Earth structure known as the “Annihilation Well.”
Should this entropy purge be delayed, information density will begin to rise again—leading to gravitational reactivation. Within hours, the entire planetary structure would begin to fall.

Nonetheless, this marks a prelude to what humanity might become.
With these worlds in orbit, Earth-born civilization has taken its first true steps into becoming a multiplanetary species.
And so, the sails are set… toward the stars.
