Mr Paolienlal was the KWS and KSO Shillong secretary for two terms and a secretary for KSWD for two terms. He was also one of the KSO & Kuki Inpi leaders. Presently, he is Additional Director at Lok Sabha, Parliament. He is also an intending candidate for Saikot Constituency of Churachandpur, Manipur- Member of Legislative Assembly Elections, 2022.
